It is my pleasure to introduce the latest and greatest in the world of loading dock safety. The Ultimate Defender Gate™ has been the pinnacle of loading dock safety when it comes to protecting workers from plowing through the dock door.

The engineering team didn't have everything figured out when they conceived the idea of the Ultimate Defender Gate. We expanded this product due to customer demand for a more conventional guardrail style covering. This rail serves to block personnel from crawling under the gate, slips, trips and falls.

The expansion includes a guard that allows us to exceed the OSHA guidelines for guardrails as well as the wall openings directive. We understand that this is an important factor to keep in mind when purchasing a barrier for your loading dock. Some of the cases where you might want to use the Ultimate Defender Gate™ Plus are around Vats of liquid that may be molten, hazardous, or high temperature.

The additional guard does not affect the Easy Glide technology of the gate. The Ultimate Defender Gate™ Plus opens and closes easily and quickly with minimal force. We knew we couldn't compromise the integrity of the gate itself and we couldn't weigh the gate down with a repeat of the corrugated safety gate. To keep the weight down and provide the ability for quick open and close means that the additional guardrail needed to be light and straightforward.

Maximized the Quality Assurance Process

The new guardrail ships in 2 pieces with the hardware necessary to add the guardrail to the Ultimate Defender Gate™. Each piece of the guardrail attaches using four bolts and four steel washer plates. Tighten up the bolts, and the guardrail is ready to defend the dock. Although, an installation may not be necessary if you don't already own the Ultimate Defender Gate™. Any Ultimate Defender Gate™ purchased with the additional guardrail will ship with the rail already installed for ease on your end. Each gate undergoes a multi-point inspection by our quality assurance department. Our QA team ensures that each gate will fold, the latch is working, all necessary parts are ready to go, and much more.
