The hatch netting fall-thru protection system with multi-bracket attachment drastically reduces the risk of death or injury from a fall-thru in hatch installations. Custom made to fit new or existing applications with 304 stainless steel brackets.
Mounted safety net system designed to be installed in all hatches to reduce risks associated with fall throughs. The safety net system provides protection during the initial opening of this hatch and maintains protection after access has been gained. The safety net easily slides on guide rails to facilitate entry and then repositioned to prevent fall through. This system also provides excellent fall through protection while a hatch or other opening is left uncovered and/or while a worker is below. The Hatch Net can be manufactured to fit any roof hatch and all other floor openings.
Maintenance Schedule: Product should be inspected semi-annually by each owner. Inspect webbing for visible decay, fraying, and ripped stitches. The hardware should be inspected for damage, broken or bent pieces.
The safety net system after installation should be maintained in the closed position after each use. The net cannot serve as a work platform, lifting mechanism, tool holder, or tie-off point. No other equipment should attach to it. Installation responsibility rests completely with the end-user.
The system installs on aluminum, steel floor access, roof hatches, or custom framed openings. Brackets can also mount directly to concrete using supplied anchors.
Net Installation Process: Mount brackets at snap hook locations, typically one per corner with evenly spaced intermediate brackets around the perimeter.
Bolting to aluminum/steel: Mark holes corresponding to snap hooks, drill, insert bolts from back, and tighten nuts to minimum 45 ft/lbs.
Concrete installation: Drill 1/2" holes, insert wedge anchors, seat fully, tighten to 45 ft/lbs minimum. Affix caution labels to underside.
The Hatch Net is manufactured to each customer order and available for rush shipment within 48 hours upon agreement. Larger orders require extended timelines. Rush production and shipping available for additional fees.
Our hatch net fall thru protection system has a 5 year warranty. Coverage includes defects in material and craftsmanship. Modifications void the warranty.

The safety net system after installation should be maintained in the closed position after each use. The Hatch Net is a fall protection system. At no time is the net to be used as a work platform, lifting mechanism, tool holder, tie off point or to attach any other equipment to it. Installation is completely up to the end-user.
Net Installation Process: Install the rails to structure at corresponding holes located on the rail system track. A typical installation would have 3 attachments for each side evenly spaced on the rail. Larger rail systems may require more hardware. Each order ships with correct amount of hardware.
Bolting to aluminum or steel structure: Mark the location of the hole in order to correspond with the snap hooks located on the net. Drill each hole in the structure. Insert the bolt from the back and tighten nut to at least 45 ft/lbs. Repeat the process on each hole. When complete, install "Caution Label" to underside of the door (if applicable).
Concrete Installation Process: Mark location of the hole to correspond with small hole on rail. Drill a 1/2" hole in the concrete. Replace the fixture and insert wedge anchor and tap until fully seated. Tighten nut to at least 45 ft/lbs. Repeat the process on remaining holes. Affix "Caution Label" on underside of the door.
Due to the aluminum rails being built to order please allow 2-3 weeks for fabrication. Larger orders may need more time. Rush production and shipping is available for additional fee.
